The costs accrued by employees just to get to their jobs can be as much as their actual daily wage. Multiple busses, long hours in traffic, lunch, meal prep, childcare…it adds up. Corporations rarely care about that. They are not in the business of employees first. Most are in the business of making money at all costs even at the expense of their employees. Yes, many of us are happy to work and contribute but often times it’s a labor of love.

Accepting this way of life is self-abuse and self-sabotage. If you really want to stick it to the man, stop following him and doing what he says. Go your own way, find another path. Support industries and companies that value work from home and the productivity that comes with it. Walk away from outdated in office jobs.
